What is PPE?
Personal protective equipment also known as PPE and covers everything from protective clothing, head wear, eyewear, hearing, footwear and respiratory. These PPE products are designed to protect the wearer’s body from injury or infection. The hazards addressed by protective equipment include physical, electrical, heat, chemicals, biohazards, and airborne particulate matter. Protective equipment can be worn for job-related occupational safety and health purposes as well as jobs around the home.

Eye and Face Protection
Safety glasses provide protection from particulate matter-causing eye injuries, such as metal slivers, wood chips, broken glass and blunt force traumas when excessive force comes into contact with the eye.

Respirators
Respirators also known as dust masks serve to protect the user from breathing in contaminants in the air, thus preserving the health of their respiratory tract.

Gloves
Because much of our work is done with the hands, gloves are an essential item in providing skin protection. Some examples of gloves commonly used as PPE include rubber gloves, cut-resistant gloves, nitrile gloves, vinyl gloves, chemical-resistant gloves, and heat-resistant gloves.

Safety Boots
Comfort, safety, and durability stand as critical considerations in the selection of safety boots. Prioritize your well-being and professional image by choosing the appropriate pair tailored to your work environment.

Hearing protection
Hearing protection consists of earplugs and earmuffs. Workers who are regularly exposed to high noise levels should be provided with hearing protection by the employers, as they are a low-cost intervention to prevent hearing loss.

Protective Headwear
Hard hats are required when working in areas where there is a potential for injury to the head from objects falling from above; bumping into fixed objects, such as pipes or beams; or contact with electrical hazards.

Disposable Workwear
For almost all applications, disposable workwear is designed to be used one time only and by only one person before the garment is disposed of. Disposable workwear is worn over your standard workwear providing protection from cross-contamination, whether that be liquid or airborne.

Site Safety
Site safety has everything to do with protecting workers and others from death, injury, disease or other health-related risks. Work sites can often be hazardous, where workers may be exposed to various risks. Contact us to find out how we can assist your work place with safety gear.

Sun Protection
Sun Protection is the practice of taking simple steps to reduce overexposure to UV rays and heat while working outdoors, especially in Western Australia. This can include but not limited to sun screen, lip balm, wide brim hat and plenty of liquid hydration.

Hydration Products
Hydration is fundamental for body function, mental function and overall health of employees. Reduce workplace risk with electrolyte replenishment designed to maintain mind and body function through liquid or powdered concentrates, icy poles, and cooling apparel.
